The Samui island is one of the
most romantic islands of the
world with the color gren,
tremendous nature and the exotic
history with popular Big Buddha.
The famous Big Buddha shrine is
on the northern coast of Koh
Samui. Probably Samui's most
well known landmark, the 12
meter high golden Buddha can be
seen from several kilometers
away. There are many different
shrines and other smaller ornate
Buddha's inside the surrounding
Temple.
There is also a small
market, located Route 4171, near
the airport, selling a wide
range of lucky charms and other
souvenirs, alongside numerous
food stalls.
